Which links on this site earn a commission, where they appear, and what that does and does not change about the numbers you read.
Some links on this site earn a commission. This page says which, and what that does and does not change.
Every page is written and checked by the two founders of glp1.health, Pierre Huchot and Gerard Fernandez, and published under the site’s name; a licensed physician has checked the medical claims on the three pages that carry a reviewer’s name; glp1.health computes the Score on every program review itself, as the methodology sets out, states any editor’s adjustment on that review and never counts commission; and every /best ranking puts programs in Score order, the lower verified monthly price breaking a tie, except the lowest-price lists, which put price first.
The short version
When you click through to a telehealth program from this site and sign up, this site may be paid a commission by that program. You pay the same price either way.
Where the paid links are
Paid links appear on program reviews, the rankings under /best, the comparison table at /compare, the program picks in the tools and the quiz, and articles that recommend a program. Every outbound link to a commercial destination is marked as sponsored in the page source.
A paid link on this site points at a /go/ address on this domain. That address records that a click happened and which page it came from, then forwards you to the program. It stores no name and no account; the browser signature it keeps is hashed.
Where there are none
The FDA record pages, each one warning letter or one 503B outsourcing facility, and the Research articles carry no commercial links at all.
Links to primary sources are never paid. Links to fda.gov, data.cms.gov and other public sources are citations of the file a figure came from.
What commission does not buy
It does not buy a rating, a ranking position, or the removal of a warning letter from a page. See the editorial policy for what does decide order.
It does decide which programs appear. This site lists only programs it has a partner link with. When a program's partner link ends, its pages are removed.
A program with an unresolved critical FDA action is removed from every recommendation on this site. A commission does not change that.
Why this matters for what you read
A site paid per signup has an incentive to understate cost and overstate availability. The defense built into this one is that the numbers are not ours to choose: cost figures come from federal files, and each program price is recorded with the date and the URL it was read from.
Where you find a figure that disagrees with its source, the source is right. Report it to contact@glp1.health.
