Editorial policy
How glp1.health researches, sources, scores, reviews and corrects its pages, and what never changes a ranking: commission is not an input.
This page states what decides the order of a list on this site, and what does not.
Every page is written and checked by the two founders of glp1.health, Pierre Huchot and Gerard Fernandez, and published under the site’s name; a licensed physician has checked the medical claims on the three pages that carry a reviewer’s name; glp1.health computes the Score on every program review itself, as the methodology sets out, states any editor’s adjustment on that review and never counts commission; and every /best ranking puts programs in Score order, the lower verified monthly price breaking a tie, except the lowest-price lists, which put price first.
Commission does not affect order
The Score is computed from the published methodology, and any adjustment an editor makes is stated, with its reason, on the review. Commission is not an input. No program can pay for a position or a rating.
This site lists only programs it has a partner link with. When a program's partner link ends, its pages are removed.
Rankings sort on the Score, and the lower verified monthly price breaks a tie. The lowest-price lists sort on price first. Each ranking prints every program’s Score and price, so a reader can reproduce the order.
An open FDA action removes a program from every recommendation
A program carrying an unresolved critical safety or legal flag is excluded from every ranking, every "best" list and every recommendation slot on the site. That rule is enforced in the database, not left to a page.
Its review page stays published, with the flag shown. A reader searching for that program is exactly the reader who needs to see the letter.
Prices are dated, not adjusted
A price is recorded with the date it was read and the page it was read from. It is never rounded to look better, and a promotional rate is never presented as a standing one.
Where a program's own site and our record disagree, the program's site wins and the record is corrected.
Ratings are ours, and the method is published
The Score on every review is computed by this site from the glp1.health Check. The methodology publishes the dimensions, the weights and the confidence rule, so an order can be reproduced rather than taken on trust.
FDA records carry no commercial links
No FDA record page and no Research article contains an affiliate link. A call to action beside an FDA enforcement action would compromise both.
How we research and source a page
Prices, plans, fees and terms come from each program’s own website, read on a stated date and re-read on a schedule. Drug costs come from CMS data, and the safety record from the FDA: warning letters, the FDA’s list of compounding inspections and actions, and the register of 503B outsourcing facilities. These are the only safety checks we claim to run.
Every factual sentence points to a numbered source at the foot of the page. Text inside quotation marks is copied word for word from the program’s site, and we re-check it when we re-read the page. We match a pharmacy to an FDA record on its address, never on its name alone.
Who writes and who reviews
Pages are written by the glp1.health team and published under the site’s name. A page names a medical reviewer only where a licensed physician has approved that exact version in writing. Our reviewers, their licenses and the pages they reviewed are listed on medical reviewers.
- A medical reviewer checks medical accuracy only: what a page says about medicines, side effects, safety and regulation.
- Reviewers don’t rank, endorse or recommend providers, and they don’t set headings, scores, prices or rankings.
- A reviewer’s suggested changes are weighed against our content rules before the page is finalised. The reviewer then approves the final version.
- The review credit covers only that approved version. Any later change to the page’s text removes the credit until the reviewer approves the new version. Prices and dates that refresh on their own are not part of the reviewed text.
- Reviewers are paid per review, never per provider, sign-up or click.
Conflicts of interest
Before a reviewer starts, we check their license and any discipline, their NPI, their board certification and their current work. A reviewer does no current work for a GLP-1 telehealth company, a compounding pharmacy, a drug manufacturer, a peptide vendor or a competing comparison site. A past tie that bears on a page is disclosed on that page.
How affiliate commissions work
Some links to programs are affiliate links: we may earn a commission when a reader signs up. Commission is not an input to any score, rank or review, and reviewers are never paid by results. The details are on how we make money.
Corrections
Report an error to contact@glp1.health. We reply within two business days and fix a confirmed error within five. A corrected page has its date moved and, where the correction changes a conclusion, the change is stated on the page. Errors are fixed rather than quietly removed.
