HealthRX Review: Is It Legit?
HealthRX review: compounded semaglutide $99 the first month, then $165/mo, or $97/mo on a 12-month plan; its pharmacy, FDA warning letters and complaints.
- No FDA warning letter
- LegitScript certified
- Prices checked Oct 26, 2026
HealthRX is a compounded GLP-1 program with the medication in the price. It suits people who want compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide at one flat plan price, paid month to month or prepaid for a discount.
We rate it 8.7 out of 10, tier Very good. Every fee is $0, every price sits on a public page, and you can cancel at any time.
The catch is the headline. The $97 and $177 rates are 12-month prepaid plans. Month to month you pay $165 or $214 after a $99 first month. HealthRX also does not name its pharmacy.
No FDA warning letter is on file for HealthRX in the FDA’s published warning-letter list as of Oct 26, 2026. HealthRX doesn't name its compounding pharmacy, so the pharmacy can't be cross-checked.

What is HealthRX?
HealthRX is an online service that connects you with a clinician and a compounding pharmacy for GLP-1 weight management. It says "We do not employ doctors and we do not own a pharmacy."
Here is how it goes. You pay for a plan, then fill in a medical intake online. An independent US-licensed clinician reviews it, typically within about 24 hours. If treatment fits, the prescription goes to a licensed compounding pharmacy that makes the drug for you as a named patient. The pharmacy ships it overnight, cold-chain, to your door. Refills renew on your plan until you cancel.
The menu has two drugs, both compounded and both weekly injections. They are compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide. Neither is the same product as Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro or Zepbound. There is no brand-name option. The home page also sells other prescriptions for longevity, sexual health, hair and skin, such as an NAD+ injection from $161 a month, and supplements.
Compounded GLP-1s are prepared by a pharmacy to a prescription, and they are not FDA-approved. To understand the drugs themselves, read our pages on compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide. HealthRX ships to all 50 states.
Is HealthRX legit?
Yes. HealthRX states plainly what it is: a service that links you with independent US-licensed clinicians and a licensed compounding pharmacy. It has no FDA warning letter, and its prices, terms and refund policy are public. It does not name the pharmacy or the clinicians, so you cannot look either one up yourself.
The pharmacy is a 503A pharmacy, meaning it compounds for a named patient on a prescription. State boards regulate these pharmacies. Outsourcing facilities, the other kind, register with the FDA. But with no pharmacy name, there is no license to check and no inspection record to read. If you search for the HealthRX pharmacy, that is the answer: the brand does not say which one fills your order.
What HealthRX does state clearly is the drug. Each product page names the molecule, the injection form and the word compounded. The product page shows LegitScript certificate 50087439.
How much does HealthRX cost?
HealthRX costs $165 a month for compounded semaglutide on the monthly plan, after a first month at $99. HealthRX calls the $99 "the introductory first-month price" and gives it no end date. That price includes the medication, the clinician review and shipping, with no other fee.
Tirzepatide is $99 for the first month, then $214 a month. Both monthly plans renew until you cancel. HealthRX says it prices treatment "as one flat plan price", and its plan tables list no price by dose.
Longer plans cost less per month. On Subscribe & Save, semaglutide is $374 for 3 months, $689 for 6 months and $1,163 for 12 months, which the product page puts at $97 a month. Tirzepatide is $602, $1,169 and $2,123, or $177 a month on the 12-month plan. The product pages show each plan renewing at the same price. The 12-month plans are a "48-week supply". The pricing page shows two columns, "One-time price" and "Subscribe & Save price". Its totals of $399, $714 and $1,188 for semaglutide and $627, $1,194 and $2,148 for tirzepatide are one-time purchases, which do not renew. The Subscribe & Save column reflects "a standing $25 subscriber credit off the plan price" on every renewal.
HealthRX publishes no coupon code on the pages we read. The discounts it does offer are the $99 first month, the longer plans and the $25 subscriber credit on Subscribe & Save.
The pricing page's table lists the monthly plan at $190 billed, or $239 for tirzepatide, renewing at $165 or $214. The product pages explain that $190 and $239 are one-time purchase prices, and that Subscribe & Save bills $99 today, then $165 or $214 a month.
There is nothing on top. The membership, consultation and shipping fees are each $0. HealthRX does not bill insurance, but the plans are HSA and FSA eligible. Three months on the monthly semaglutide plan total $429, counting the $99 first month.
On month-to-month prices, HealthRX ranks 10 of the 20 compounded programs in its group. The median there is $168 a month. For scale, a pharmacy pays $871.12 for a Wegovy 1.7 mg pen package, effective September 23, 2026. That is an acquisition cost for the brand-name drug, not what a patient pays.

How does HealthRX work?
The care is a written review by a clinician, not a scheduled video visit. You complete the consultation online after you pay, and a licensed provider reviews it, typically within about 24 hours. The provider decides on your treatment.
If you are approved, the pharmacy prepares the drug and ships it overnight with rush, no-contact delivery. HealthRX says most patients have the medication "within days of starting the consultation." Every plan includes the provider review, the prescription when appropriate, the medication and overnight shipping.
HealthRX says refills, dose changes and provider messaging run through your account, and that the provider may ask follow-up questions through the portal before deciding. It does not describe scheduled follow-up visits or a lab policy. Ask about both before you start if ongoing contact with a clinician matters to you.
Is HealthRX safe? FDA status and warning letters
HealthRX has no FDA warning letter and no open flag on its record. There is nothing against a pharmacy either, because none is named.
The bigger question with any compounded program is the drug itself. Compounded GLP-1s are prepared by a pharmacy to a prescription. They are not FDA-approved: the FDA doesn't review their safety, effectiveness or quality before they're sold, and they are not the same as Wegovy or Zepbound. Formulas can differ from one pharmacy to the next, and some add ingredients such as vitamin B12. Compounding pharmacies are licensed and inspected by state boards of pharmacy; outsourcing facilities (503B) also register with the FDA and are inspected by it. The FDA can issue warning letters when either breaks rules on safety or sterility. The HealthRX product pages tell you to "Discuss with your prescriber and pharmacist" before you start.
For side effects, doses and who should not take these drugs, read our pages on semaglutide side effects and tirzepatide side effects, which quote the FDA labels.
How to cancel HealthRX
You can cancel at any time by emailing support@healthrx.com. The FAQ says: "Email support@healthrx.com and ask to cancel. We refund any unshipped dose. No phone call needed." Subscribe & Save plans renew automatically at the price and interval shown at checkout until you cancel; one-time purchases do not renew. HealthRX says it will email you before a change to your renewal price or billing period takes effect.
The refund rules are short. If a provider does not approve you after your intake, you get a full refund. Once medication is dispensed and handed to the carrier, it can't be returned and the sale is final. Canceling a subscription does not return medication already dispensed.
The trap is the prepaid plan. The $97 rate means paying $1,163 up front for a "48-week supply" of semaglutide. HealthRX does not say whether a 12-month plan ships in one go or in parts, so ask what an unshipped dose would mean for you before you prepay. Prepay only if you are sure you will stay on the drug that long. If you have side effects, talk to your provider.

What customers say about HealthRX
The product pages show three member testimonials with their weight loss, and add: "These members were compensated for their testimonials." We don't repeat those figures, because one person's result doesn't show how well a program works. This site collects no independent reviews of its own.
That leaves you with little to go on from other patients. Read the price, the plan lengths and the refund rule above for what you will pay and sign. If you want to hear from other patients first, look for independent HealthRX reviews before you prepay for a longer plan. If you have side effects, talk to your provider.

We rescored HealthRX on October 10, after several other programs changed their prices. Its own price held, but more programs now price below it. Its rank moved from 6 of 18 to 9 of 19, so cost and value fell from 8 to 6 and the total from 8.9 to 8.6. We rescored it again on October 16, after its group grew to 20 programs: its rank moved from 9 to 10, and no score changed. We rescored it on October 22, after correcting its prices in our record ($99 first month, and the Subscribe & Save plans): its rank moved from 10 to 9 of 21, so cost and value rose from 6 to 7 and the total from 8.6 to 8.7. The method is on our methodology page.
